In the middle of NOWHERE! stunning formations. Great opportunity for pictures.
Neat place, rock formations were really cool. It's just a few acres and could use a little TLC but all in all worth the stop and look.
This is a clean and well-kept park, but really nothing more than a rest stop in the middle of nowhere. The formations have been ignored too long and are completely covered in graffiti. The State Park service really should put a little more effort into preserving this spot.
This Kansas state Park is billed as the smallest state park in Kansas. If you have some time to take a break from driving across Kansas, this park makes a great place to explore for 30 minutes to an hour. Following Google map directions to the park, it appears that you are driving towards not much of anything until you get to the park and see the mushroom rocks. There is a small picnic area and pit-style bathroom available on location and a short walking trail.
Interesting rock formations. Really small place, not much to see, but what is there is really cool.
